If you’ve recently lost a family member or been named in a will as an executor or personal representative of an estate, you may need some assistance in navigating the process called “probate.”  Probate is the way in which the deceased’s assets are collected and accounted for, the debts are identified and paid, and the remainder of the assets are distributed to the beneficiaries or heirs.

Fortunately in Texas, this process is not as cumbersome or expensive as it is in many other states.  That said, there are a number of steps that must be taken in order to properly administer the estate.  And if you are the named executor, you have an obligation to the beneficiaries/heirs to properly carry out your duties.  It would be my privilege to assist you in doing just that.

While it is difficult to provide a fixed fee in probate matters due to the possibility of unexpected issues, the Law Office of Daniel Hare will provide a cost estimate up front based on what is known at the time.  However, the ultimate cost will be based upon an hourly rate.

*In nearly all cases, attorney’s fees in probate matters are paid or reimbursed by the estate.
